Why conversation needs its own course
Most Malaysians learn English for eleven years at school and still freeze when a foreigner asks for directions. The problem is rarely grammar — it is mileage. Speaking is a muscle, and muscles need repetitions, not more theory.
Every session gives you those repetitions. Your teacher opens a topic, hands you useful phrases, and then gets out of the way while you talk — stepping in to fix the errors that matter and to push you slightly past comfortable.
Topics that are actually interesting
We rotate through themes our students vote on: street food rivalries, travel disasters, money and side hustles, films, festivals, office politics, parenting, and the occasional gloriously silly debate (sambal on everything: yes or no?). You will never discuss "the weather in London" unless you genuinely want to.
How correction works
Nobody improves while being interrupted mid-sentence. Teachers note your slips during the discussion, then run a five-minute feedback round at the end — what you said, what a native speaker would say, and one thing to try next session. You also get your personal recurring errors tracked term by term.
