Terms & Conditions

These terms form the agreement between you and Foodgear Learning Hub Sdn Bhd (Business Reg. No. 202201035174 (1481226-H)), of Unit 10-2, Jalan SS15/4D, SS15, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, whenever you use this website or enrol in our courses. By enrolling, you accept them.

1. Enrolment and placement

Enrolment is confirmed once we have received your completed registration and the applicable fee. Course placement follows your level check result. We may decline or defer an enrolment where a course is full or where we honestly believe the course will not serve you — in which case we will recommend an alternative or return any fee paid.

Students under 18 must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on the student's behalf.

2. Lessons and scheduling

• Lessons run online at the times published for your course. Times are stated in Malaysian time (MYT).
• If a teacher is unavailable, we provide a qualified substitute or reschedule the lesson. A rescheduled lesson is not a cancellation.
• Private tutoring lessons may be rescheduled by the student free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Later notice, or a no-show, forfeits that lesson.
• Missing a group lesson does not extend the course or entitle a refund, but catch-up support is provided as described on the course page.

3. Fees and payment

• Fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are payable before the course, term or lesson pack begins.
• Instalment plans, where offered, must be kept current for the student to keep attending.
• Fee sheets are provided on request and may change between terms; changes never affect a term already paid for.

4. Your conduct

Our classrooms are kind places and we intend to keep them that way. We may suspend or remove, without refund, any student who harasses teachers or classmates, repeatedly disrupts lessons, or shares class recordings or materials outside the school. We will always warn first unless the behaviour is severe.

5. Materials and intellectual property

Course materials, lesson recordings, worksheets and this website's content belong to the school or its licensors. You may use them for your own study. You may not republish, resell or redistribute them.

6. Certificates

Certificates are issued on completing a course and passing its end-of-term assessment, and state the level assessed by our teachers. Our certificates document our own assessment; they are not a substitute for official examinations such as IELTS or MUET.

7. Technology requirements

You are responsible for your own device and internet connection. If a lesson fails because of an outage on our side, we reschedule it at no cost. Connection problems on the student's side are treated as an absence.

8. Liability

We provide education with professional care and skill. To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability for any claim connected to a course is limited to the fees you paid for that course. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are announced by email to enrolled students at least 14 days before they take effect. The version on this page is always the current one.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts. Though we would much rather resolve any problem over a phone call first — see the Return & Refund Policy for how we handle the most common issues.
