Return & Refund Policy

Last updated: 14 April 2026

Education is a service, not a parcel, so "returns" work a little differently here. This policy sets out exactly when fees come back to you. It applies to all courses, tutoring packs and camps sold by Foodgear Learning Hub Sdn Bhd.

1. The 14-day first-course guarantee

New to our school? You are covered by our starter guarantee: if within the first 14 days of your first group course (or your first four lessons, whichever comes first) you decide the school is not for you, tell us and we will refund the full term fee minus only the lessons already delivered, valued at the standard per-lesson rate. No forms to fight, no guilt trip — a short exit chat so we can learn, then your money back.

2. Withdrawing mid-term

After the guarantee window, term fees are refundable on a sliding scale:

  • Before 50% of the term has run: refund of the remaining lessons minus a RM150 administration fee.
  • After 50% of the term has run: no cash refund, but we will credit the remaining value toward any future course for up to 12 months.

3. Private tutoring packs

Unused lessons in a 10- or 20-lesson pack are refundable at any time, minus lessons already taken (charged at the single-lesson rate rather than the discounted pack rate) and a RM100 administration fee. Alternatively, transfer unused lessons to a family member or friend free of charge — packs are people-flexible.

4. Holiday camps

  • 14 or more days before camp starts: full refund, or free transfer to a later camp week.
  • 7–13 days before: 50% refund, or free transfer.
  • Under 7 days / after camp begins: no refund, but if your child is unwell (with a medical certificate) we transfer the full fee to the next available camp.

5. When we cancel

If we cancel a course, a camp week or an individual lesson and cannot offer a substitute or reschedule, you receive a full refund of the affected portion — automatically, without needing to ask.

6. How refunds are paid

Refunds go back by the method you paid with, within 14 working days of approval, to the original payer. Where that is impossible (an expired card, a closed account) we arrange a bank transfer to the payer's Malaysian bank account.

7. What refunds do not cover

Lessons missed by the student, connection failures on the student's side, removal for misconduct under our Terms & Conditions, and promotional extras that were free to begin with.

8. Talk to us first

Most refund questions turn out to be schedule questions in disguise — a clash, a busy season, a level that felt wrong. There is usually a better fix than leaving: a group change, a pause, a different course. Email [email protected] or call +60 3-5612 4879 and give us one conversation to sort it out.
