What a session feels like
Forty minutes, fast-moving, screen time that earns its keep. A warm-up song, a story with characters the kids start to know, a game that sneaks in the week's vocabulary, and a show-and-tell moment where every child speaks. Cameras on, hands up, lots of stickers.
Classes are capped at six children and grouped tightly by age — a five-year-old and an eleven-year-old are learning on different planets, and we plan accordingly.
Three age groups
- Sprouts (5–7): phonics, first words, songs and picture stories. The goal is love of the language, not grammar tables.
- Explorers (8–10): reading short texts, simple writing, describing their world — pets, football, favourite dinosaurs.
- Navigators (11–12): real conversations, longer reading, journal writing and confident presentation of their own projects.
What parents get
A monthly progress note in plain language — what your child can do now that they could not do last month. A term-end video call with the teacher. And honest advice: if we think your child would do better in a different group or format, we will say so.
A note on safety
All children's classes are recorded for safeguarding, teachers hold background checks from their home countries, and a parent or guardian can sit in on any session, any time, unannounced.
